I'm going to start this off with the fact that I was just shamed into not looking into the spoilers for next week's Angel episode on The WB. I didn't promise that I wouldn't look, I just agreed to close the page while there were others in the room. That being said....
"ghmuh*nha*nha... oooh" was pretty much the response to the end of the episode. When Joss compels us to speak in sounds rather than words, it's a good one.
Knox is dead now - yay! It's about time they killed the stupid former dusted vamp. He always seemed a little too innocent for someone who worked for Wolfram and Hart anyway.
Everyone's life is going to suck sooner or later:
Wesley - his new girlfriend, the girl he has wanted since the beginning of time, just turned into the oldest pure demon in the world
Gunn - Totally shot himself in the foot asking for the brain upgrade. Now, he's responsible for turning his ex-girlfriend into the oldest pure demon in the world and stabbing a good friend in the back - however accidentally and unintentionally it was done at the time. Not to mention smashing in the head of the guy actually responsible for the whole mess to begin with. Then there's the fact that somehow, the conduit took his own form, and "he" hates his own guts and beat him quite soundly and repeatedly about the head and neck.
Fred - Well, she might not exist anymore, at least not as the cute little Winnifred Burkle we've all come to know and love. Upshot - she's totally hot in the new duds.
Angel - Couldn't do anything to save Fred, and he just lost Cordy, and he found out that Buffy doesn't trust him anymore - just how much rejection can one guy take? Only bright spot on the horizon - Nina, and she tried to eat him in the last episode.
Spike - He's starting to like (and even think like)Angel... this can't be good for anyone.
Lorne - No more sunshine, and sooner or later reading all of these evil minds has to get to a demon
Eve - the most loveable, huggable demon in the whole wide world hit her and told her he'd kill her before Angel and Spike even managed to think about doing it. Then he told her she'd be better of dead. Uh oh. This does not look good for her future happiness with Lindsay, the boy swallowed whole by the Senior Parters - but hey! He's got an evil hand!
On the upshot - Conner has no memory of these absolutely insane people and is probably doing just fine, and Cordy probably earned enough points with the PTB to be happy in heaven - so long as no smarty pants junior wicca gets it in her head to pull her back out.
And somehow, I'm not going to look at the spoilers until next Wednesday? Uh huh, yeah, sure - some people have a whole lot more faith in me than I do...
