Out with the Old... In with the New

Christmas insanity is over, New Years insanity begins tomorrow night. I flew home to NY, spent time with the family, got thoroughly overwhelmed by the sheer number of people in my space, got to spend a few quiet days with my parents and flew home last night. Today I signed a lease on a new apartment. If all goes well, I'll be moving in the last weekend in January. And if all goes even better, I'll be adding a new member to my family, a german shephard mix named Katie. She's about a year old, a friend found her as a stray. Sherri's taken her in, but she's not able to keep her. Katie has proven herself housebroken, a cuddler and very well behaved. I'm definitely excited.
