Cold, tired, emotional...
Oct. 23rd, 2005 10:18 pmcranky, bitchy, crazy, moody... you name a negative emotion, that was me today.
I worked another quick 3 hour shift this morning before church, got a couple patients done, took some of the load off of everyone else. Then went to church, then home to change and chill a bit, then off to attempt to find the Glassworks building for a local wedding reception for Jordan and Melissa (who got married in California). For The Record the Glassworks building is actually at the corner of Market and Roy Wilkins. Not at the corner of Main and 9th, not at the corner of Market and Ninth, and asking Tara for directions will get you frustrated and pissed off, nothing more. I swear, I circled the blocks in the general vicinity of the building 10 times, was in the area at 2:13, didn't actually walk into the reception until 2:50, and managed to have a major crying jag while I was at it.
mcblue was the one who finally was able to tell me where to go (and got me to cry it out and settle down to become a normal, yet thoroughly exhausted, human again). So after I mingled badly, I escaped, went home, took a nap. Woke up, decided not to clean my apartment like I should, decided I wasn't making anything for dinner because that would require cleaning the kitchen, and ordered Pizza Hut.
At this point, still tired, still headachy, kinda ache all over, and I have to go to work tomorrow and have 5 more days to get through before I get a whole day off. However, given that I've now worked 3 extra weekend days this pay period, if a budget day pops up this week, it's mine (I hope).
