:::yawn:::
Jun. 6th, 2005 07:06 pmI have hit the post workout "all I want to do is sleep" point of the evening. It was another good workout, I was able to increase all of my weights. I've somewhat decided that I'm going to max out my 1 set of 12 on each machine rather than do multiple sets because
A) I really don't mind a little bit of muscle bulk
B) If I stick to 1 set I can keep doing the weight circuit as an extension of my cardio workout
C) With the warmup, circuit, abs, cooldown I can get out of the gym in an hour
I'll probably decide that I need to do something different eventually, but for now, this is ok.
Anyway, I was due my "measurements" today (really, overdue) and officially, I have lost 8 pounds since I started working out in March, I have lost 1" at both upper arms, 1" at my abdomen, 1 1/4" at my hips, and 1" at both thighs, and, I've lost 1% body fat (assuming that the silly machine is consistently inconsistent). That last measurement could be rather suspect as the particular device they use to measure body fat is affected by whether or not you've eaten that day, with the most accurate results occurring if you haven't eaten. However, there is no way in hell I'm going to work all day, then work out without having eaten or had anything to drink. Not going to happen. Instead I'll either try to get it measured some Saturday morning when I actually haven't eaten or I'll just see if I can check in with Curtis at the gym at work and use the one there.
Other than that, bible study was canceled tonight, so I don't have to go anywhere. Trevor is scheduled to arrive in town within hours. And... I just may go to bed early (I know, I know, I keep claiming this and then stay up all night).
