Job search-y fun

So I spent a long weekend in NY, staying at my parents' home, for the purpose of interviews for several job opportunities. In total 5 interviews, for a variety of settings, and all went reasonably well. Of the 5, they couldn't pay me enough to take the first one (even for a million dollars, I swear), the 2nd and 3rd look very promising, 4th and 5th kind of fall into the remote possibility category. I've been offered 2 positions at this time, one of which I'm waiting for some specifics on, and figure I'll wait until Wednesday or so to see what else comes through before I start making decisions. I think this all means that I'll be moving back to NY the weekend of February 23rd, if everything comes together properly. This means I've got LOTS of work to do in the next month. More later when I'm not sitting in an airport paying $5/hour for WiFi.

I am so frickin' happy you're moving back within the month. I don't need to tell you that you always have a place to crash, hang out, snark and do whatever you need (you can crochet in peace here!) when you come home! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY! YAY!

Thanks! If it helps any, I'm moving to a poor, rural area for a job that is likely not going to be as good as the one I have. But I'm doing it for family, so it all is good in the end.
