So... I've turned life all topsy-turvey this month. I'm moving back to upstate NY, possibly as early as late February, which I have mixed feelings about. On the one hand, yay! family! re-start! new niece/nephew on the way! On the other.... I'm leaving behind everyone here, who I've really come to care for. I'll also be switching my area of practice again (most likely). I started out in pediatrics, I've done adult acute care for the past 3.5 years, and I'll probably end up working subacute rehab in NY (if the most appealing looking positions actually turn out to be appealing). I'll be moving from a city to a rural area (at least temporarily). I may even end up staying with my family for the first few months (pay down the bills and save up some funds for rent). Weird! Strange! Not at all sure about how this is going to actually work out. Just kinda glad to be leaving here, I've been feeling rather stuck-in-a-rut-ish for a while. I'll be up there the 24th & 25th to do interviews, might have decisions after that, might not. Kind of all depends on how things come together.
