and thank goodness for it.
This week was just weird! Alternating between nothing to do and too much to do, being wide awake and full of energy to dragging and slightly whiny, being HUNGRY and not being able to eat a full bowl of soup. Anyway, it's over. On to the next one.
Mom sent a Mother's Day card to me this week, from Katie (the dog). It was too cute. So this morning when she woke me up I was all "don't I even get to sleep in on Mother's Day?" she just gave me the "but you love me" look and alternately cuddled with me and bounced all over the bed. The dog jumps like a damn rabbit.
So, for the next two days off, I have an objective: clean the damn apartment! Seriously!
Actually, it's not that bad, except in the kitchen. Not only was there an explosion of pots & pans and assorted silverware, something appears to have crawled to die (which may just be the sink drain - not the most efficient or effective draining system going on). That's the big deal for the next couple days. Of course, if I can go into AdComm tomorrow, that'd be good too. Haven't tossed around cell phones lately. I'd also like to take Katie to the park - we can spend a couple hours walking scenic loop & running around dog hill - it'd be good for us both.
