I decided that some progress was better than no progress, and since the writing of new year's goals worked out better than spoken resolutions, that I'd do it again this year. I've carried over goals from last year, and updated/added more.
1) Have $1000 in a savings account by September 2006
2) Have $1000 less in credit card debt by September 2006
3) Exercise at least 3 times per week by March 2006, every week and keep it going through 2006
4) Lose at least 50 pounds by the end of 2006
5) Begin volunteering to provide respite care for a family of a child with special needs at least twice a month by March 2006
6) Set aside daily quiet time at least 5 times a week by March 2006
7) Decrease my diet coke intake to 1 or fewer 12 oz cans daily, while increasing my water intake to consistently 64 oz daily by March 2006 and maintaining through 2006
8) Consistently update my live journal, at least 4 times/week by March 2006 and continue through 2006 with one entry/week detailing progress toward goals.
