Ok, I know I haven't had a real journal entry lately... or even finished the one I started Monday, but just wanted to say this....
Sometimes, people say things and don't even realize the magnitude of what they are saying and it is just so damn cool. I met this guy tonight and after hanging out for a while he discovered among other things that I'm a physical therapist and that I cook and as conversation progressed he said something somewhat like this (somewhat paraphrased for lack of perfect memory):
"Wait, you're a physical therapist right? That means you give really good back rubs... You better watch out. You give good backrubs, you're a good cook, you're pretty and you've got a fun bubbly laugh... there's some guy out there looking for you and when he finds you he's not letting go."
And the best part, it was said out of simple, straightforward kindness (with a bit of amusement added in), not trying to hit on me, not being facetious, no sarcasm, just simple, straightforward, to the point. It's not even something I've been stressing on lately, but it was just plain good to hear.
