Discoveries...

Today, I discovered that I have the capability to heat up a bottle (the old fashioned way) with one hand, while bouncing a screaming baby with the other. Wow. Not so much fun. Good to know I can do it though.

Today was my first official Babysitting the Niece event (for more than 30 minutes). Started off great, got a little hairy in the middle, then ended up well at the end. No major drama, just a very unhappy belly for a while, and once that got worked out, we had a smiley baby again.

Still... that was the first time that I was actively glad to give her back to her Momma.
