So it's Sunday...
Oct. 16th, 2005 10:20 pm... and I was neither lazy nor productive. How does one accomplish this? By getting called into work when you're on your way to church. So, the morning started off well, then went to church, where Ted was quite long-winded (but saying very good things), and then directly to work. I completed 3 evals in 3 hours, (would have been faster, but they were all ICU evals and I got tripped up on the last one) and then out the door I went. When I got home, I was waylaid online by a certain gentleman who will remain nameless, and thoroughly distracted. Then I grabbed a quick dinner and off to babysit the Orinator. He was a trip tonight. Flipping between whining and giggling enough to bust. We had pillow fights and tickle wars and fought over the remote, but then both became engrossed in Firefly. Note, this is a 14 month old we're talking about here. His mom & dad got home at 9:30, and after chatting a few minutes, back home. I cleaned up some (no where near all) of the disaster in the kitchen and proceeded to add to the disaster by making a marvelous meaty red sauce (which, if I'm lucky, will feed me until I have money to buy groceries again). So... the laundry is still dirty, the kitchen still a mess, I do have food but I still don't think I relaxed at all today. Somehow this doesn't seem quite fair.
