Lesson to be learned...

If one has a latex allergy, one really should keep around non-latex gloves and paper tape at all times, as the absolute bare essentials. A couple latex-free band-aids probably wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Context: I sliced my foot open on a piece of glass at Trevor's today, and definitely didn't have anything with me first aid kit wise, and he only had 3 latex band-aids. Hence I spent the rest of the evening holding a piece of paper towel to my bleeding foot. No fun. Now I'm home and I've jerry-rigged a compression dressing that will even prevent me from bleeding on my ivory bedspread. But yeah, gloves and tape to go in the car tomorrow morning, and to stay there.

An anti-social evening...

Tonight, on the way home from work, I stopped at the store and picked up ice cream and cheetos and a diet coke. I also bought a new book. I have TONS of things I could be doing, but instead I putzed around on the computer, ate bad food and read a book. Haven't done that in a while. I'm really glad I did tonight.
