So, first things first. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events IS NOT A CHILDREN'S MOVIE. It is dark and morbid and CREEPY. And what's with the house full of snakes? :::skeeve::: And I swear, every time I see Jim Carey now, I'm going to think "Child Molester!" and then there were the sexual innuendo's that were tripping all over the script just above the kids level of awareness. All in all? My moral compass feels thoroughly spun around and turned upside down and may not be put to rights for days. And my checking account is going to hate me because I'm going to have to get the books now.
