Smashed vs. Mashed?
Dec. 26th, 2004 05:03 pmIt finally dawned on me today that there is actually a difference between smashed and mashed potatoes, namely that the smashed ones have skins on, so you end up with skins in your smashed potatoes. Sorry if this was obvious to anyone else, but it kind of hit me like a revelation (as I had never even heard to smashed potatoes until a year ago).
And in other news, the "physical" in physical therapy isn't a misnomer, and it isn't all for the patient. I had 2 killer transfers today, and the one pretty much fell on me so I heaved him into a chair rather than having both of us end up on the floor. One word: Ow!
