So... I could be whining about how I just don't have time to update my journal, but that's a load of crap, so instead, I'm going to get to the point.
1) Have $1000 in a savings account by September 2006
Nope, no progress in this respect, as a matter of a fact, I don't even have a savings account in Kentucky.
2) Have $1000 less in credit card debt by September 2006
This I have made progress toward, however at this point, I've not yet quantified it. I put a large portion of my tax return toward credit card bills, so when I do the actual numbers, I'll update with that.
3) Exercise at least 3 times per week by March 2006, every week and keep it going through 2006
Not so wonderful going on here. I am walking the dog several times a week, but it doesn't actually constitute regular exercise yet.
4) Lose at least 50 pounds by the end of 2006
I've lost about a pound. Need to do better in this area.
5) Begin volunteering to provide respite care for a family of a child with special needs at least twice a month by March 2006
Slacker.
6) Set aside daily quiet time at least 5 times a week by March 2006
Quiet time is coming along. I think I'm consistently at 5 times/week, but I don't have a solid period of time, or where I am, or what I'm doing. So, some progress, it's coming along.
7) Decrease my diet coke intake to 1 or fewer 12 oz cans daily, while increasing my water intake to consistently 64 oz daily by March 2006 and maintaining through 2006
Yeah... I kinda sucked at this. I did successfully remove diet coke from my world for 1 week while fasting for church. After the first 2 days of headaches, it got to be a lot better and I did actually survive. However, since then I've been all "hey, I can have diet coke, wahoo!"
8) Consistently update my live journal, at least 4 times/week by March 2006 and continue through 2006 with one entry/week detailing progress toward goals.
I think that the results of this goal are pretty damn obvious. Enough said.
